I've been disappointed by stone work before how can you be sure I'll be happy?
We can be sure you'll be happy because we partner with you or your architect to develop a detailed CAD drawing of the stone work. After you approve the drawing each stone is cut to within a 1/16th of an inch tolerance and then hand tooled to provide a fit that is unsurpassed in masonry. Each stone is then numbered and shipped to your site where it is installed according to the CAD design that you approved.

Does it really take 10% of the time to install?
It really does only take 10% of the time installed because each piece comes precut and numbered along with a CAD drawing showing where each stone fits in the project. This eliminates the on site cutting, fitting and mess that results in about 90% of the time associated with normal masonry projects.

I don't live in Massachusetts, do you ship to my area?
We ship throughout the continental United States. Because of the weight of the product, shipping costs vary based upon distance from our headquarters in Uxbridge Massachusetts.

How much does this cost?
Pricing for custom work is determined based upon the specific project requirements discussed during the design session, generally we provide an estimate within three days of the initial design session. Kits range in price based upon unit size and configuration; a general range for outdoor kitchens is $4,500 for a base unit up to $10,000 for the largest model. Fire place kits range from $9,000 to $14,000 not including the cost of the firebox.

What is a design session and how do I schedule one?
During a design session we meet with you and your architect to discuss the specific requirements of your project following up with an initial estimate typically within three days of the meeting. sessions can be setup by calling our main office (508) 278-7060 or e-mailing us at sales@newworldstoneworks.com; we do not charge for design session.

Do I have to work through a specific architect or builder to use your product?
You do not have to use a specific architect or builder to use our product. The product is installed using the same techniques applied to any other masonry stone and does not require special knowledge to install. As a result any architect or builder can use the product.

Is your product man made?
Our product is not man-made; all of our stone is cut from premier granite and quartzite hand selected for beauty to ensure that your stone work looks as good in a hundred years as it does the day it is installed.

Is this a green product?
Stone in general is considered a green product, but we take the definition a step farther and apply it to our process. Our patented cutting process uses absolutely no toxic chemicals, everything in the process is earth friendly. Since 100% of the stone shipped is used on your project, fuel costs for shipping are reduced in comparison to standard stone work where waste stone can make up a significant percentage of the stone shipped.

Do you Install the stone?
During the conception of our company we made a conscious decision not to install, focusing instead on providing our customers with the finest custom designed stone work. We made this decision because our product really is easy to install and does not require any special skills. Anyone capable of reading a simple diagram, mixing mortar or using a caulking gun, and lifting stones into place can quickly put their project together.

Do I need a mason to install the stone?
You do not need a mason to install our stone; our stone can be installed by just about anyone that can mix mortar, read the numbers on the stones and put them in order according the supplied diagram. If you are installing a fireplace we do recommend that you have a knowledgeable individual or stone mason build the firebox that the stone will encase.
