From high efficiency light fixtures to the non-toxic processes we use to cut and shape the stone, as a company we are focused on being “green” because it is simply the right the thing to do.
Green At Every Step
- Because our stone arrives to the site pre-cut we have eliminated all the dusty onsite cutting, which means your job site won’t be filing the neighborhood or your house with stone dust.
- We are the only veneer stone company that achieves 100% utilization of material shipped to the jobsite. With traditional techniques excess stock is trucked in to be picked through with leftover stock trucked away. This not only incurs cost, but it also requires extra fuel and disposal costs.
- New World Stoneworks exclusively uses natural stone from quarries that are committed to minimally impacting the surrounding forests and streams in their operations.
Only Natural In, Only Natural Out
In producing exceptional stonework, our highly efficient process creates three completely natural by-products: filtered water, fine sand and a minimal amount of stone scrap. Through a cooperative partnership, all of our scrap stone and sand is recycled into paving aggregate that is used in maintaining local roads.
